FEES

An annual registration fee of $65 for each dancer is due upon registration, along with your first and last months tuition. If the entire year is paid in full, no registration fee will be charged. There are no refunds. This does not apply to summer class/camps or special events.

Registration Fee: $65/per student

Monthly Tuition:

DC Dance Center tuition is based on an entire season of dance. Our season runs from September- June. All dancers are required to pay for the entire season. Tuition will be electronically debited on the 5th of every month. No refunds for June will be given. A discount has been applied to more than one student and/or more than one class. Payments that are not paid on time will receive a $15 late fee. Full tuition is due regardless of holidays, shows or studio closures. Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a month or on attendance. There is NO refund for missed classes. Discounts do not apply to private and semi-private lessons.

Costume Fee:

All students enrolled in the fall/spring season at DC Dance Center are expected to perform in our June annual recital. All students will be required to purchase one costume per dance class they are enrolled in. This fee will be electronically debited on November 30th. Dancers will wear this costume at our annual recital and any other performances along with your recital t-shirt. The cost of these costumes are $91.00+tax per class per student. Costume fees are not refundable or non - transferable.

Recital Fee:

DC Dance Center has a seasonal annual recital. All dancers are expected to perform in our recital. A recital fee will be electronically debited from your account on January 15th. Your recital fee will includes 3 tickets to our annual recital, a recital t-shirt with your child’s name on it and a link recording of the recital per family. Recital fees are non refundable and non-transferable.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy:

All classes require a two-month minimum commitment, which includes your dancer’s first month of tuition and last month of tuition, June. The last month’s tuition is collected as part of your enrollment agreement and is non-refundable and non-transferable, even if a dancer withdraws before June or does not complete the full season.

A 30-day written notice is required to discontinue any class. To withdraw, families must:

Complete a withdrawal form in person at the front desk.

Withdrawal requests will not be accepted over the phone, by text message, or through your child’s instructor.

If written notice is not received at least 30 days in advance, the next month’s full tuition will be automatically withdrawn from the account on file. No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes, early withdrawal, or failure to attend.

No withdrawals will be accepted after December 1st.

Make up Policy:

Each dancer is allowed up to two make-up classes per season for classes missed due to illness or personal reasons. Make-up classes must be scheduled in advance and taken in a similar class, based on availability. No refunds, credits, or discounts will be given for missed classes. Make-up classes are not offered for scheduled studio closures, holidays, or breaks. If DC Dance Center cancels class due to weather or an emergency, families may schedule a make-up class using the current class schedule. Unused make-up classes do not roll over and cannot be transferred.
